Graduate Programs - Current OpportunitiesReturn to Financial Aid Overview The Department of Physics is seeking candidates for graduate study and research opportunities leading to the PhD in Physics and Engineering Physics, The research areas are Astrophysics and Particle Astrophysics, Remote Sensing and Atmospheric Physics, Biophysics, Computational Quantum and Statistical Physics, Laser, Atomic and Molecular Physics, Materials/Condensed Matter Physics. Teaching Assistantships with full tuition support are available in all areas. Research Assistantships with full tuition support are currently available or anticipated in Computational Quantum/Statistical Physics Materials/Condensed Matter Physics All qualified graduate student candidates with interests in these areas are encouraged to apply promptly to ensure consideration before these positions are filled. A number of openings for Doctoral Fellowships may be available in Fall for any of the areas above. Stipend levels are competitive, and each award carries full tuition support.
