Professors Levy, Nadgorny, Suits, and Yap

Assistantships are currently available in condensed matter physics/materials science. Highly qualified applicants are sought who have an interest in and ability to perform state of the art experimental work. Research work is a combination of laboratory and some computational activities. Most of this work is interdisciplinary and may also involve faculty from other departments and/or other research centers. Current research in experimental condensed matter/materials includes the following groups:

  • Novel Materials for Devices (Levy)
  • Dislocation Physics (Nadgorny)
  • Magnetic Resonance Studies of Materials and Materials Detection (Suits)
  • Materials Physics, Molecular Electronics, and Nanoscale Science and Technology (Yap)
