Graduate Programs - Miles FellowshipReturn to Financial Aid Overview The Department of Physics is seeking an outstanding candidate for the Miles Fellowship. The Miles combines graduate study and research toward the PhD with both mentored and independent academic course teaching opportunities. Candidates should have interests in the active research areas pursued by the faculty members, as well as a strong desire to pursue an academic career and capabilities that will distinguish themselves in the classroom. Exceptional first-year applicants will automatically be considered for Miles Fellowships, as well as for other graduate student opportunities at MTU.
