B-Spline CI Calculation of M1 Transition Rates for
Fe X Excited Levels
New calculations of magnetic dipole M1 transition rates and lifetimes of the metastable excited states will be presented. Usage of the B-Spline set of orbitals into the lifetime calculation will be explored. Impact of these calculations for the contruction of quantum computer gates will be discussed.
