Course Description:
A laboratory complement to PH1160.
Experiments covering kinematics, force, conservation of momentum, conservation of
energy, waves, and thermodynamics are explored through guided construction.
The course emphasizes understanding physical concepts
through inquiry and the scientific method.
This course is a corequisite for PH1160
This course is a prerequisite for PH2261.
This course is an alternate prerequisite for PH1200.
Restrictions: Open to Physics and Applied Physics majors only, or by
permission of the instructor.
Lab Fee: $110
Course first offered Fall, 2003. It replaces PH1100H.
