The expo was held in the

Memorial Union Building.
The Open House was very busy and extremely well-attended.

careers in physics.

Registration and the expo were held in the

Rozsa Center.
The Open House was well-attended
by more than 700 people.

The gap was sparked between the ground
sphere and dome of the Van de Graaff generator.

Magnetics
The expanded view
shows in clockwise order from upper left:

The presence of a magnetic solid near the
liquid magnet produces a regular pattern,
similar to the behavior of iron filings in a
magnetic field.
