PURPOSE: Demonstrate the third law of motion with two carts and a medicine ball.

DESCRIPTION: Place two Kinesthetic Carts on the floor close together. Set a person on each cart. Have them throw the medicine ball to each other. The carts will move away from each other when the ball is thrown back and forth.

SUGGESTIONS: Be CAREFUL! Don't throw the ball two hard!
