PURPOSE: To demonstrate electrostatic repulsion in an entertaining and amusing way.

DESCRIPTION: A piece of fur, the "rabbit," is placed on top of the Van de Graaff dome, and the grounded globe is held adjacent to the dome of the Van de Graaff. Everytime a spark is drawn from the Van De Graaff the fur is charged. This causes the rabbit to jump up.
