Double Major/Second Degree

Students at MTU may pursue a double major (one degree with two majors) or a second degree in a second major (two degrees with separate majors). Both require significant additional work.

For a double major, the student must complete all the requirements for each major.

For a second degree, the student must complete at least 25% of the required curriculum for the major of their second degree without duplicating courses required for the first degree.
