UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMS

Minor

In order to minor in Physics or Astrophysics, you must file two forms with the Office of Student Records & Registration: "Change/Addition of Major or Minor" and "Minor in ____". These forms are available from Dr. Gary Agin, 103 Fisher Hall.

Physics Minor

The Physics minor consists of PH2100, PH2200, and at least 10 additional semester credits in Physics at the 3000 level and above, to include at least one of PH3110, PH3410, or PH4210. Of the 10 additional credits, at least 6 must be from courses not required for the student's major. Not open to Applied Physics majors.

Astrophysics Minor

The Astrophysics minor consists of PH1600, PH2200, and any two of (PH4610, PH4620, PH4630), and 5 credits (7 for Applied Physics Majors) of electives in related courses chosen from EE4256, EE4257, GE4250 or FW4540, MA2720 or MA3710, PH4640 and PH5610.
