Course Grade

Your grade in this course will be based on graded homework, a mid-term hour exam and a final hour exam. Each of these will be equally weighted in the determination of your course average. There are also assigned "Challenge Problems" which will count as extra credit on the homework portion. Thus, it is possible to earn more than 100% for homework. The due date for each homework assignment will be announced in class. Late homework will receive a significant penalty. Additional problems and exercises may be assigned for class participation.
