Course Grade
Your grade in this course will be based on two MasteringPhysics homework scores (Tutorial and End of Chapter),
a mid-term hour exam and a final
hour exam. Each of these will be equally weighted in the determination of your course average.
There are also MasteringPhysics "Challenge Problems" which will count as extra credit on the homework
portion. Thus, it is possible to earn more than 100% for homework. The due date for each
homework assignment can be found on MasteringPhysics and are summarized below. Late homework will receive a
penalty. Additional problems and exercises may be assigned for class participation.
