from Lime Crest quarry, Sparta, New Jersey

A well-formed hexagonal graphite crystal
(1.2 mm) with a thick secondary overgrowth of
graphite. The crystal is on partially etched
calcite and is associated with orange phlogopite
that is included with tiny graphite spheres,
and an unidentified pale green mineral at the
mid-lower right.
