This course aims to develop and apply more mathematical sophistication than you have applied in E&M so far, and also to deepen your physical understanding of the interaction of particles and fields.
Primary Textbook: Electromagnetism, G. Pollack & D. Stump (Addison Wesley 2002).
Additional reference: Introduction to Electrodynamics, D. J. Griffiths (Prentice Hall 1999).
Timeless reference: The
Feynman Lectures on Physics, vol. II. (Addison-Wesley 1964).
