Course Description:
Instrument and measurement theory, combine with laboratory practice in the use of all available types of apparatus, for the detection and characterization of nuclear radiation. Sampling techniques are considered and error analysis is applied to develop skills in interpretation of results.
Prerequisite: PH310 or PH420 or permission of instructor.
