We saw many strange or otherwise noteable plants.

The Upside-Down Plant which has flowers near the ground. This was found near Uluru.

A desert forest.
Some of these trees are several hundred years old. They grow very slowly.

This is the "Gympie Gympie" or "Stinger" (Dendrocnide moroides).

This plant uses the tree for support, but is not parasitic. Such plants are called Epiphytes.
This was at the transfer station on the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway on the way down from Kuranda.
